Bhim App crosses 20 million downloads


The Bhim App released by the Government of India has crossed the 20 million download figure. This information was given by Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Policy Commission.

Let us tell you that this App was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote digital transaction at the time of note banned. Users are quite like this app. This is made by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). Bhim App only works on Unified Payment Interface i.e. UPI Digital payments can be done easily through this app. Along with this, this app is available on Android and iOS platforms.

The biggest feature of this app is that this app will work without internet as well. Users only need to call *99# (USSD Code). Only Patiala is offering the payment of the Internet without paying. But that BHIM is not as strong as the app.

In January, the BHIM App had crossed the 1.1 million download point, but now a few days ago the Bhim App Refer and Earn Program has been introduced. In refer & earn, users will get Rs 10 on each referral, due to which Bhim App has crossed the download figure of 2 crores.

Amitabh Kant said that the download of Bhim App has reached near two crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this app for mobile and fast cashless transactions on December 30.

Bhim App is designed as a platform which is easy to pay in the UPI and USSD manner. After the ban, there has been a sharp increase in transactions through digital payment methods such as mobile wallet, USSD and variant.
